The CFMEU Office will be closed from midday 21st December 2023 and re-opens Monday 8 January 2024 at 8.00am.
Note: If you are dismissed from your employment, there is a strict time limit of 21 days from the dismissal to make an unfair dismissal claim in the Fair Work Commission. If you are dismissed whilst the CFMEU is closed and want to complain you should lodge the claim with the Fair Work Commission yourself to ensure that it is lodged in time. You can do this on-line athttps://www.fwc.gov.au/
You can also contact the Fair Work Commission by phone on 1300 799 675 between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, but closed on public holidays. If you do file an unfair dismissal claim, and if you are a financial member of the Union, please contact us to discuss it when the Union re-opens.
